When facing a cancer diagnosis and its related treatment, financial concerns may be the last thing you want to focus your energy on­, and understandably so! For many of us, and especially those without health insurance, navigating the cost of treatment may seem daunting. Thankfully, Novant Health’s financial navigators are here to help. Working with you, our financial navigators can assist with Medicaid/Medicare applications, set up hospital payment plans and apply for any financial grants you may be eligible for.

Another resource you should know about is the case management team at Novant Health Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center. These specially trained individuals can work with you to access community resources and financial assistance outside the scope of Novant Health. For example, there may be a cancer-specific private foundation or even a local community partner that can help.
