One of our core commitments at Novant Health is to make information clear and accessible so patients and family members like you understand their medical conditions, treatment options and care plans.

We know that promise can become a bit challenging when it comes to the world of cancer. Resources available online and in print can be overwhelming, and sometimes it is difficult to know what information is accurate and based on sound research versus someone’s theory or opinion.

At Novant Health Buddy Kemp Cancer Support Center, we recently have taken an important step to help patients with information overload. Our library has been completely updated to include a new inventory of medical books and cancer diagnosis information, with each shelf labeled according to specific topics. If you’re concerned about being able to find the right information for you, you can even schedule an appointment with our librarian.

We encourage you to stop by and check things out for yourself. We offer comfortable chairs, a computer and wireless Internet access so that you can enjoy reading information that literally is at your fingertips. Our library is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Call 704-384-5223 to make an appointment or walk right in!
