Registering for Novant Health events just got easier! Whether you’re a cancer patient, family member or caring friend, we have the group for you. Many programs are offered at a variety of locations and times.

• ALL OUT: For teens and young adults with cancer; fourth Thursdays, 6 to 8 p.m. For updated information about program and location, call 704-384-3156.
• Bosom Buddies support group: Weekly on Wednesdays, 10 to 11:30 a.m., with a potluck lunch second Wednesdays. Meets at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, seventh floor family room, off of courtyard elevators.
• Colorectal cancer support: First Mondays, 6 p.m. Meets at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center, first floor, radiation oncology conference room.
• Drumming circle: First Thursdays of the month, 7 p.m. Drumming circles have long been used to bring communities of people together. A great activity for reducing stress! Discover what it can do for you. 1801 E. Fifth St., Charlotte, conference room. Call 704-384-5223 for registration information.
• Head and neck cancer support: Fourth Tuesdays, 1 to 2:30 p.m. Caregivers welcome. 125 Baldwin Ave., Charlotte. Call 704-384-8204 for questions.
• Imagery for participating in your own healing process: Mondays at 7 p.m. Join us for a series to help you develop tools to enhance the healing process. Learn to incorporate techniques such as imagery, strengthening your will to live through visualization, learning and relaxation techniques. Temporary location at 1801 E. • Lending Boutique: Your borrowing resource for wigs, scarves, hats, turbans, bras and prostheses. Donations welcome!
• Prostate cancer support: Second Mondays. Call 704-384-5223 for start times and location.

• Living through cancer – Huntersville: Third Thursdays at 6 p.m. at Huntersville Medical Center in the Physician’s Plaza, room 380. Offers general support to adults with cancer and those who love and care for them. Call 704-384-3513 to register.

• Bereavement support: Groups are open to anyone who has lost a loved one. To speak to a counselor or to sign up for a support group, please call 704-384-6478.
  • Novant Health Hospice & Supportive Care, 324 N. McDowell St., Charlotte, NC 28204, Wednesdays, 2 to 3:30 p.m.
  • Levine Senior Center, 1050 DeVore Lane, Matthews, NC 28105. Six-week series. Mondays, 5 p.m. Pre-registration is required.
  • Levine Senior Center, 1050 DeVore Lane, Matthews, NC 28105. Second Fridays, 10 a.m.
  • Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center, 10030 Gilead Road, Huntersville, NC 28078, first and third Mondays, 6 p.m.
• Cancer wellness exercise program: An ongoing cancer wellness and fatigue management program to improve physical and emotional recovery for all survivors undergoing treatment or recovering from its effects. Call 704-384-6953 for more information.
• Look Good, Feel Better: A special program sponsored by the American Cancer Society that offers support to help women deal with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatments. Call 1-888-227-6333 to register.
• Yoga for cancer survivors: Classes cater to a variety of survivor needs and skill levels. Offered at Novant Health Cancer Rehab & Wellness, 125 Baldwin Ave., Charlotte. Call 704-384-6953 for more information. Price: $10/class or $25/month.
