Electronic health record launches at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center
Novant Health is committed to making healthcare simpler and more convenient for our patients, and one of the biggest ways we are doing this is through our new electronic health record (EHR). Used in all Novant Health physician clinics, we began our EHR rollout to our medical centers on Oct. 5, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center. Novant Health Matthews Medical Center, Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center and Novant Health Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital will go live on the system this spring. With our EHR, patients will have one medical record that can be seamlessly accessed across our entire system – from clinics to medical centers. This ability to share and exchange information offers patients a variety of benefits:

One of the biggest benefits of our electronic health record is MyChart, a free online tool that lets you view and manage your health information. Through MyChart, you may now access details about your hospital stay, including your health history and a summary of your care, as well as pay your medical bill online.
If your physician is part of a Novant Health clinic, you may use MyChart to:
- View outpatient test results.
- Email and send pictures to your provider.
- Schedule appointments.
- Request prescription refills.
