• ALL OUT: for teens and young adults with cancer; fourth Thursdays, 6-8 p.m. Call 704-384-3156 for more.
• Bosom Buddies breast cancer support: Wednesdays, 10-11:30 a.m., with potluck lunch second Wednesdays.
• Brain Matters brain cancer support: fourth Thursdays, 2 p.m.
• Breast cancer survivors support: fourth Mondays, 7-8:30 p.m.
• Caregiver Connections support: fourth Thursdays, 2-3 p.m.
• CLIMB (Children’s lives include moments of bravery): a special program for children who have a parent or caregiver who has cancer. Call 704-384-0103 for dates and times.
• Colorectal cancer support: first Mondays, 6 p.m.
• Family Ties: for families with a child who has cancer. Call 704-384-0103 for meeting times and more.
• Gynecologic cancer support: second and fourth Mondays, 10-11:30 a.m.
• The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society family support: first Tuesdays, 10 a.m.
• Living Through Cancer: designed to network, resource and gain support; first Thursdays, 1 p.m.
• Metastatic breast cancer support: first Tuesdays, lunch, 12:30-1:30 p.m., and group session, 1:30-3 p.m.
• Pancreatic cancer support: call 704-841-0728 for dates and times.
• Prostate cancer support: second Mondays. Call 704-384-5223 for start times.
• Thyroid cancer support: third Saturdays, 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
• Lending Boutique: your borrowing resource for wigs, scarves, hats, turbans, bras and prosthesis. Donations welcome!

• Bereavement support: Groups are open to anyone who has lost a loved one. Call 704-384-6478 to register for Friday, Matthews and Huntersville groups.

  • At Levine Senior Center in Matthews second and fourth Mondays, 5 p.m.; second and fourth Fridays, 10 a.m.

• Look Good, Feel Better: A special program sponsored by the America Cancer Society that offers support to help women deal with the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatments.
